Frequently asked questions

Common questions about Denver Tech Support.

Find details about appointments, pricing, remote support, cabling, home and small-business services, and ongoing support.

Do you provide on-site computer repair throughout the Denver metro area?

Yes. On-site appointments are available throughout the Denver metro area. A mileage-based travel fee applies and is confirmed before the appointment.

Do you install Ethernet and security camera cabling?

Yes. Network cabling is available for homes and small businesses through Denver Tech Support’s partnership with Applied Telecom & Data. Projects can include Ethernet runs and wall jacks, cabling for security cameras and wireless access points, patch panels and network racks, plus labeling, testing, and cleanup.

Can you fix the problem remotely?

Many software, email, account, configuration, and troubleshooting issues can be handled remotely. Hardware failures, cabling, physical installations, and some network problems usually need an on-site appointment.

Do you help both homes and small businesses?

Yes. Residential support covers personal computers, Wi-Fi, printers, accounts, security, backups, TV mounting, streaming, and home audio. Small-business support also includes workstations, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, shared accounts, networks, vendors, and technology planning.

What is managed home technology?

Managed home technology means having one ongoing IT contact for the household. QuickTech Home includes priority access for questions, minor remote support, buying and setup advice, service notes, and ScamChecker. It does not include continuous device monitoring, unlimited support, or appointment labor.

What does zero-trust consulting include?

Zero-trust consulting reviews who and what can access each account, app, device, and shared file. The work can include multi-factor authentication, removing stale access, separating administrator privileges, limiting permissions, securing remote access, and documenting onboarding and offboarding. It is an approach to access and security, not a single product.

Can you help with computer workstation ergonomics?

Yes. Workstation setup can cover monitor height and distance, seating position, keyboard and mouse placement, lighting, cable routing, docking stations, and accessibility settings. I can also recommend equipment when the current setup is causing avoidable strain. This is technology and workstation setup, not medical or occupational-health advice.

What does tech support cost?

Standard support is $90 per hour with a one-hour minimum, then rounded to the half-hour. Parts, software licenses, third-party services, and applicable mileage are separate.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Call or text (720) 333-6750, or email hello@denvertech.support. Include the device or service, the problem, your location, and any deadline. Software and account issues may qualify for remote support; hardware and network work usually needs an appointment.
