Denver Tech Support privacy practices
Who this policy covers
Denver Tech Support is a SimplServ, LLC business based in Denver, Colorado. This policy applies to denvertech.support, communications with Denver Tech Support, and information handled while providing technology support. A third-party website or service linked from this site has its own privacy practices.
Information we collect
Information you provide
We may collect your name, email address, phone number, home or business location, appointment details, device and account information, descriptions of technical problems, and other information you choose to provide by phone, email, website form, chat, remote-support session, or in person.
Please do not send passwords, passkeys, authentication or recovery codes, full payment-card or bank numbers, Social Security numbers, private encryption keys, or other authentication secrets through this website, email, chat, or SMS.
Website and device information
The website, hosting platform, and security systems may process an IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, requested pages, dates and times, approximate location, and diagnostic or security logs. This information helps deliver the site, understand general traffic, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot errors.
AI chat and contact form
The website assistant uses a session cookie to keep a conversation together. Chat messages, assistant replies, page context, a pseudonymous visitor identifier, and basic browser details are sent to OpenAI for response generation and through an automation provider to Denver Tech Support. Response storage is disabled in the request to OpenAI, although OpenAI may retain limited abuse-monitoring records as described in its API data controls. The contact form also sends the name, email address, optional phone number, and message you submit. Messages may be retained as business correspondence and support records.
The assistant attempts to redact some obvious payment numbers and authentication secrets, but automated redaction is not guaranteed. Do not enter sensitive credentials or financial information.
ScamCheck and support records
If you forward an email to ScamCheck, we process the forwarded message, visible sender and routing information, message content, links, payment requests, and whether an attachment is present to prepare the report. ScamCheck does not open or scan attachments. Support records may include service notes, communications, equipment details, troubleshooting history, invoices, and outcomes.
Remote support
ScreenConnect is installed as part of QuickTech setup. The remote-support service may process the device name, operating system, network address, connection status, session timestamps, and related diagnostic details needed to maintain the connection and provide support. Remote viewing or control is used only for requested or otherwise approved support work. You may ask Denver Tech Support to remove the client.
Managed endpoint protection
If you enroll a workstation in QuickTech Endpoint Protection, Denver Tech Support and ThreatDown may process device identifiers, operating-system and software inventory, agent health, vulnerability and patch status, security detections, malicious-site requests, quarantine or isolation status, and related diagnostic and response records. The selected tier may include automated filtering and remediation or review by ThreatDown security analysts. This information is used to operate the protection service, investigate and respond to threats, maintain policies, support the enrolled device, and document security activity.
Payments and subscriptions
Online checkout, recurring subscriptions, invoices, and payment processing are provided by Square. Square collects payment and account information under its privacy notice for customers. Denver Tech Support generally receives transaction records, contact information, subscription status, and limited payment details such as card type or last four digits—not your complete payment-card number.
Employment inquiries and candidate applications
If you submit an application, Denver Tech Support collects the contact information, work interests, availability, compensation expectations, qualifications, work-authorization responses, cover letter, professional links, and optional files you provide.
Candidate information is used only to review employee, contract, or project fit; communicate about an application; protect the application system; and comply with applicable law. It is not sold or used for marketing.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to questions, assess whether a request is within scope, and arrange remote or on-site service;
- provide, document, maintain, and improve support, QuickTech, QuickTech Endpoint Protection, and ScamCheck;
- process payments, manage subscriptions, send receipts, and maintain business and tax records;
- send service notices, appointment information, security notices, and requested follow-up;
- operate, secure, measure, and troubleshoot the website and its communications systems;
- send occasional email newsletters or promotions and manage opt-out preferences;
- review candidate applications and communicate about possible future work opportunities; and
- comply with law, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and protect customers, Denver Tech Support, and others.
When information is shared
Information may be shared with service providers that perform work for Denver Tech Support, including website hosting, analytics, email and automation, AI processing, payment processing, remote-support software, communications, accounting, and security. ThreatDown processes enrolled-device and security telemetry under its privacy policy to provide endpoint software and managed security services. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services or as otherwise described in their own terms and privacy notices.
Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; investigate fraud, abuse, or a security incident; protect legal rights or safety; collect an amount owed; or complete a merger, sale, financing, or transfer of some or all of the business, subject to appropriate protections.
Denver Tech Support does not sell or rent personal information. Mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties for their own marketing. Providers may process mobile information only to support communications or customer service for Denver Tech Support.
Cookies and analytics
The website uses a strictly necessary session cookie for the assistant and Google Analytics to understand aggregate site use. Google Analytics may use cookies and collect pseudonymous usage, browser, device, referral, and approximate-location information. Denver Tech Support does not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, or form contents to Google Analytics.
You can block or delete cookies using your browser. Blocking the assistant session cookie may prevent chat or the contact form from working. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google describes its processing in Google’s Privacy Policy.
SMS messages and email
SMS and phone communications
If you provide a mobile number or initiate a text conversation, Denver Tech Support may use that number for individual, service-related communications such as responding to your request, confirming appointment details, providing an arrival update, or following up on active work. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. SMS delivery is not guaranteed, and this number is not continuously monitored; call for time-sensitive matters.
Denver Tech Support does not send promotional or recurring automated marketing texts without separate express consent. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. Calling, emailing, buying a service, submitting a website form, joining an email list, or providing a number for service does not by itself enroll you in SMS marketing.
Reply STOP to any Denver Tech Support text to request no further SMS messages. You may also opt out by calling (720) 712-3131 or emailing hello@denvertech.support. Reply HELP or use those contact methods for assistance. We will honor reasonable opt-out requests promptly. A single non-marketing confirmation may be sent after an SMS opt-out. Opting out of SMS does not prevent necessary non-SMS communications about an active appointment, transaction, or legal matter.
Square email campaigns
Denver Tech Support uses Square to send an occasional campaign or newsletter, generally four or five times per year. These messages may include technology news, service information, or promotions. Each marketing email includes an unsubscribe option. You can also request removal by emailing hello@denvertech.support. Opting out of marketing email does not stop receipts, subscription notices, appointment messages, or other transactional and service communications. Email marketing consent is not SMS consent.
Retention and security
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including active and anticipated support, customer history, warranties, subscriptions, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal obligations, and enforcement. Retention periods vary by record type and provider. Candidate applications may ordinarily be retained for up to 12 months for possible future opportunities unless the applicant requests deletion sooner or a longer period is reasonably required by law. Failed assistant-message deliveries may remain temporarily in a private delivery queue until they can be transmitted or safely removed.
Denver Tech Support uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a small technology-support business. No internet transmission, email, text message, remote session, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. If you believe sensitive information was sent in error, contact us promptly.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information that Denver Tech Support controls, or request a copy of it. You may also withdraw consent or appeal a response to a privacy request where applicable law provides those rights. Some information may need to be retained for legal, security, accounting, transactional, or dispute-resolution reasons.
Send a request to hello@denvertech.support with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Denver Tech Support does not currently sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so a browser-based opt-out signal generally does not change how this site processes information.
Children’s privacy
This website and its services are not directed to children under 13, and Denver Tech Support does not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact us to request deletion.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated as the website, services, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be described here or communicated through another reasonable method when required.
