Website and service terms

Terms of Service

These terms cover the Denver Tech Support website, online tools, communications, subscriptions, and technology-support services.

Effective September 18, 2026

The practical version: Website information and automated tools are useful starting points, but they are not a diagnosis or a promise that a problem can be fixed. Actual support work, pricing, scope, and authorization are confirmed separately.

Denver Tech Support terms

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and SimplServ, LLC, doing business as Denver Tech Support (“Denver Tech Support,” “we,” or “us”). By using denvertech.support, its online tools, or a Denver Tech Support subscription, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the applicable website feature or service.

Using the public website does not by itself create a technician-client, managed-services, fiduciary, or other professional relationship. A service relationship begins only when Denver Tech Support accepts a request, confirms an appointment or remote session, or otherwise agrees to provide work.

Website information and permitted use

The website provides general information about services, pricing, technology news, security, and third-party products. Content may become outdated as vendors, threats, prices, promotions, and product terms change. You are responsible for confirming time-sensitive information with the original provider before acting.

You may use the website for personal or internal business purposes. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious code, scrape it in a way that degrades service, impersonate another person, misuse the communication tools, or use the site for unlawful activity.

AI assistant and contact tools

The website assistant uses artificial intelligence to answer questions, collect useful intake details, and suggest limited low-risk troubleshooting. AI output can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. It is not a substitute for inspection by a qualified person and should not be relied on for emergencies, electrical hazards, physical safety, legal advice, financial decisions, or actions that could erase data or lock an account.

Chat messages are recorded and sent to Denver Tech Support. Do not submit passwords, passkeys, authentication or recovery codes, full payment-card or bank numbers, private encryption keys, or other secrets. Submitting a form or chat does not guarantee an immediate response, an appointment, or acceptance of work.

Candidate applications

The private candidate form accepts applications for employee, contract, or project opportunities. Submitting an application does not create an employment or contractor relationship, guarantee an interview or response, reserve a position, or constitute an offer. Any offer and its duties, compensation, benefits, classification, requirements, and other material terms will be communicated separately.

Applicants must submit accurate information and may provide only files they are authorized to share. Denver Tech Support may remove incomplete, duplicative, abusive, malicious, or irrelevant submissions.

Password Generator and ScamCheck

Password Generator

The Password Generator runs in your browser using browser-provided secure randomness. Denver Tech Support does not intentionally receive or store generated passwords. You are responsible for copying, storing, and using them safely. No password generator can protect an account if the password is reused, exposed, phished, or stored insecurely.

ScamCheck

ScamCheck provides an automated risk assessment of a forwarded email based on visible sender, content, links, payment requests, and phishing signals. It may note that an attachment exists, but it does not open or scan attachments. A report is not a guarantee that an email is safe, malicious, authentic, or fraudulent. When money, credentials, remote access, or a compromised account may be involved, independently verify the request and contact the appropriate bank, provider, or authority through a trusted channel.

Support services

Service scope is based on the request, available information, access, equipment condition, and what is discovered during the work. Troubleshooting and consultation are billable professional services even when a definitive root cause is not identified or a repair is not possible. Support does not necessarily include formal root-cause analysis, written documentation, monitoring, or future maintenance unless specifically agreed.

You authorize Denver Tech Support to perform the work you approve and represent that you have authority over the relevant device, account, network, premises, and data. You agree to provide accurate information, disclose known hazards or prior damage, maintain appropriate licenses, and cooperate with reasonable access and verification requests.

You are responsible for maintaining current backups before work begins whenever reasonably possible. Technology work can expose existing failures or involve risks such as downtime, data loss, changed settings, hardware failure, vendor lockout, and incompatibility. Denver Tech Support will use reasonable care but cannot guarantee that all data is recoverable, all malware is detectable, every problem can be reproduced, or a device or service can be repaired.

Remote support

Use Denver Tech Support’s ScreenConnect portal only after independently contacting Denver Tech Support and confirming that a remote session is expected. By joining an authorized session, you permit the technician to view and control the device as needed for the approved work. You may end the session at any time. Never grant remote access because of an unexpected call, popup, email, or text.

ScreenConnect is installed on supported devices as part of QuickTech setup. The client allows Denver Tech Support to begin requested or otherwise approved remote-support work without reinstalling connection software for each session. It does not authorize unrelated access or expand the plan’s stated support hours or scope. You may withdraw authorization and request removal of the client.

Billing, appointments, and refunds

Current advertised rates and plan details appear on the relevant service page. Unless a separate written estimate or agreement says otherwise, appointments have a one-hour minimum, mileage may apply at $0.67 per mile, and appointments canceled less than two hours before the scheduled time may be billed. Taxes, hardware, software, licenses, shipping, disposal, outside vendors, and other direct costs may be additional.

Refunds are provided at the sole discretion of Denver Tech Support except where applicable law requires otherwise. An estimate is not a guarantee of final time or cost when conditions, scope, parts, third-party systems, or information change. Past results do not guarantee a particular result.

QuickTech and recurring subscriptions

QuickTech, QuickTech Endpoint Protection, and ScamCheck subscriptions are billed through Square at the price and interval shown at checkout. Monthly subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. Annual subscriptions are charged upfront and renew annually until canceled. You may stop future renewals by emailing hello@denvertech.support or calling (720) 712-3131 before the next renewal. Canceling does not retroactively refund a completed billing period unless Denver Tech Support agrees or applicable law requires it.

QuickTech includes the benefits stated for the selected plan, such as priority response, minor remote help, advice, service notes, always-ready ScreenConnect remote access, and ScamCheck access. It is not unlimited labor, general 24/7 systems monitoring, guaranteed same-day service, emergency support, or a replacement for separately billed appointments, hands-on work, extended troubleshooting, administration, or projects. Plan limits, eligible users, fair-use limits, and availability described on the current service page apply.

QuickTech Endpoint Protection

QuickTech Endpoint Protection is licensed per supported workstation and includes only the capabilities stated for the selected tier. QuickTech Home includes Standard protection for one eligible workstation while the Home subscription remains active; upgrades and additional workstations cost extra. QuickTech Pro and Priority do not include an endpoint license unless one is separately purchased at the then-current subscriber price.

By enrolling a device, you authorize Denver Tech Support and ThreatDown to install and operate the selected software, apply security policies, process security and device telemetry, and take the automated or analyst-led detection, quarantine, isolation, containment, remediation, and patching actions included in the selected tier. Coverage depends on the device remaining supported, connected, correctly installed, and appropriately configured. Supported applications and capabilities may change as operating systems, vendors, and ThreatDown services change.

Features vary by operating system. Windows and supported-app patching require compatible Windows computers; updates may require a restart. Annual protection subscriptions save 8% compared with twelve monthly payments at the same standalone tier. Taxes may apply.

No security product can guarantee prevention, detection, containment, remediation, recovery, or uninterrupted operation. Pre-existing infections, unsupported software, disconnected or misconfigured devices, hands-on repair, reimaging, account recovery, data recovery, and work outside the selected tier may require separately billed service.

ThreatDown and its licensors retain all intellectual-property rights in their software and managed services. You receive a limited, non-transferable right to use them on enrolled devices during an active subscription and may not reverse engineer, modify, sublicense, or redistribute them. Use is also subject to ThreatDown’s current Software License Agreement and, for analyst-led services, its Managed Services Agreement.

Phone, SMS, and email terms

If you provide a phone number or initiate a text, you authorize individual service-related calls or messages about your request, appointment, account, or active work. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS is not continuously monitored and should not be used for urgent requests.

Denver Tech Support does not treat a purchase, phone call, form submission, email-list signup, or service-related phone number as consent to promotional SMS. Recurring or promotional marketing texts require separate express consent and are not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS, or contact Denver Tech Support by phone or email. Reply HELP for assistance. A single non-promotional opt-out confirmation may follow. See the Privacy Policy’s communications section for more detail.

Denver Tech Support may send occasional marketing email through Square, generally four or five times per year. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe method. Opting out of marketing does not stop receipts, appointment messages, security notices, subscription notices, or other transactional communications.

Third-party services and referrals

The website links to or relies on services operated by Square, Google, Microsoft, Apple, ThreatDown, internet providers, ScreenConnect, software publishers, and others. Their availability, security, pricing, content, and policies are outside Denver Tech Support’s control. A link is not a warranty or endorsement unless the site expressly says otherwise.

Denver Tech Support may receive referral compensation when a clearly identified referral link or code is used, including the Quantum Fiber referral described on the fiber-planning page. Referral compensation does not change the price stated by the provider and does not guarantee service availability, installation quality, or provider performance.

Ownership and feedback

The Denver Tech Support name, website design, original text, graphics, and other original site materials are owned by SimplServ, LLC or used with permission. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. You may link to public pages and quote brief portions with attribution, but may not republish substantial site content or imply affiliation without permission.

If you voluntarily provide feedback or suggestions, Denver Tech Support may use them without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the website and free online tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from errors. Paid services will be performed with reasonable care consistent with the agreed scope, but no particular diagnosis, repair, recovery, security outcome, uptime, or compatibility is guaranteed.

To the extent permitted by law, Denver Tech Support is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from use of the website, free tools, third-party services, or support work. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits rights provided by applicable consumer-protection law.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Colorado law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you and Denver Tech Support agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue directly. Any legal proceeding that is not resolved informally will be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Denver, Colorado, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

If one part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. These website terms, together with any applicable estimate, invoice, checkout terms, plan description, or written service agreement, form the agreement for the applicable use or work; a specific written service term controls over a conflicting general website term.

Changes and contact

Denver Tech Support may update these terms as the website and services change. The effective date identifies the current version. Changes apply prospectively when posted unless a different date is stated or applicable law requires another form of notice.
